什么是检出限？

检出限（Detection Limit）根据国际纯粹与应用化学联合会（IUPAC）的定义为The minimum single result which, with a stated probability, can be distinguished from a suitable blank value. The limit defines the point at which the analysis becomes possible and this may be different from the lower limit of the determinable analytical range. 即在特定的概率条件下能够与空白值区分的最小信号值。该限值确定了能够分析的最低值，该值与可分析范围下限可能不同。对于晶圆表面金属污染检测设备来说，检出限一般指方法检出限，即在确定的条件下使用确定的方法对洁净晶圆进行连续7次检测，根据7次检测的标准偏差计算得到的检出限，一般以atoms/cm2为单位表示。检出限越低意味着设备能够测定的晶圆表面污染物浓度越低。
